Festival 8 horas de Flamenco: Amb D de Dona

The 8 Hours of Flamenco Festival, organised by the Peña Flamenca del Poble-Sec, comes to Paral·lel 62 with two events that place flamenco singing at the heart of the programme.

At 7:00 pm, the hall will host Amb D de Dona free of charge, a gathering featuring four Catalan artists: singers Ana Brenes, Lídia Mora and Alexandra Moreno, and dancer María Sierra. A celebration of flamenco created and experienced by women, bringing together different generations, voices and sensibilities from the Catalan scene.

At 9:00 pm, Sandra Carrasco and David de Arahal will close the festival with an intimate and stripped-back concert. Two generations of flamenco come together in a no-frills format, where voice and guitar engage in dialogue through tradition, sensitivity and a shared way of understanding flamenco.
