Juliette Robles presents “El Gran Río”

Juliette Robles is an artist of Andean descent born in Barcelona who is walking towards a reunion with her roots. For her, music is a channel of healing from the pain caused by the rejection of a fundamental part of her origin. Her new album called “El Gran Río” evokes the Andean and the sound experimentation of winds, strings and Andean percussion that consolidate into a temperament of resistance. Her lyrics allude to an indigenous futurism through her experiences as a second generation migrant and her desire to recover from her indigenous roots. In her project, Juliette follows the path of the force of water and brings out the pain and her ancestral strength, nourished by the discovery of her Andean identity and worldview. The live performance has the essence of a ritual that will transform pain into an encouragement to face the inequality that bodies like hers go through.
