La Diablada: Dante Spinetta + Son Rompe Pera + Belén Natalí + more

DIABLADA is more than a party; it’s an encounter, ritual, and revelation. A communion and a way to celebrate ourselves! The explosive blend of Latin American groove with the Mediterranean.

DANTE SPINETTA, the versatile artist who opened the doors to urban genres in Argentina, is one of the great figures in Latin American music of the last 30 years. Son of the legendary Luis Alberto Spinetta. At the age of 14, he formed the duo Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas with Emmanuel Horvilleur, and in 1991, they released their first album. Over the next decade, Kuryaki became pioneers and a key influence in Latin American hip-hop, rap, and urban music. Dante returned to the stage to showcase his funkier side with MESA DULCE (2022). Mesa Dulce, featuring 10 tracks of his own composition, includes arrangements of winds by Michael B. Nelson, who worked for many years with Prince.

SON ROMPE PERA is the explosive marimba-driven band formed by brothers from Naucalpan, who, with their hands in their pockets, have managed to define the “Cumbia Punk” genre and captivate audiences around the world. From Mexico comes rebellious and irreverent music that, while embracing tradition, also tears it apart to the foundations of the marimba, key by key. Among their staunch admirers and closest collaborators, we can identify Macha (Chico Trujillo, Bloque Depresivo) and Mario Galeano (Frente Cumbiero).

In addition to the already confirmed Dante Spinetta and Son Rompe Pera, there will be a full band presentation of Belén Natalí and the devilish sessions of Sonido Tupinamba and Asia Knox at the controls.
