Mohama Saz + Esperanto

Mohama Saz + Esperanto, a double dose of psychedelia between the Mediterranean and the East.

Since playing at Barcelona Psych Fest in 2024, Mohama Saz haven’t stopped: three US tours, a European tour with High on Fire, and appearances at festivals such as Primavera Sound, Le Guess Who and Desertfest. Along the way, they’ve continued pushing their blend of Mediterranean psychedelia, kraut, North African rhythms and Middle Eastern music even further, always with the electric baglama saz leading the way. And if there’s one thing we remember from their BPF show, it’s that live they’re on another level.

On the other side of the bill will be Esperanto, a band closely connected to Mohama Saz, with whom they share three of their four members. We already had them at BPF 2025 presenting “Tiempos de vencer”, a debut album that we still think is an absolute gem, bringing together psychedelia, kraut, free jazz and Eastern arrangements.
