Curtcircuit: Namina & The Barbarians

Two years of touring the last album with very good reception, sharing the stage with musicians with a long career and projection, have made Namina rethink the way of creating new pieces and bringing them live.

She presents his latest album ‘La nuit’ within the framework of Curtcircuit on December 21 at the Paral·lel 62 CLUB room. A work full of intimate, stripped-down moments that coexist with climaxes of volume and improvisation, a personal journey to the roots of African-American music (from the south and north) and the diaspora since the first quarter of the 21st century.

Furthermore, the band grows to a septet, with the latest addition of Pere Miró on baritone sax and clarinet, who joins Namina on guitar, voice and merlin, Pep Gol on trumpet, melodica, conch, Pep Rius on double bass, Gerard Grandson on organ, piano and guitar, Pep Pascual on clarinet, musical saw and tenor sax and Xevi Matamala on drums.
