SAY IT LOUD VOL.17

With an artistic selection that travels through reggae, jazz, funk, hip-hop, soul and Afro-Latin rhythms, SAY IT LOUD celebrates its 17th edition with a strong commitment to sonic diversity and sound system culture.

This year’s line-up features a true legend of global reggae, David Rodigan, with more than four decades making dancefloors around the world vibrate; Japanese turntablism virtuoso DJ Koco aka Shimokita, a master of 7-inch vinyl and funk, soul and hip-hop sessions; the powerful live show of Colectiva, a key name in Afro-Latin jazz in the United Kingdom; the fresh, unapologetic groove of Muniats, one of the most exciting acts on the Catalan scene; Paris-based Colombian rapper La Valentina, one of the most distinctive new voices on the European underground scene; and Dance Crasher Sound, selectors specialising in Jamaican music on vinyl, from ska and rocksteady to dancehall.

A meeting point for those who understand music and culture as something more than a money-making machine. A place to share new sounds and reclaim music and culture as a tool for collective transformation.
